The Bollenstreek is an area between Haarlem and Leiden in The Netherlands where farmers grow flower bulbs, in particular Tulips, Daffodils and Hyacinths. From March onwards many fields show stunning colors which attract many visitors from all over the world. Especially the Flower Garden Keukenhof in Lisse is a tourist magnet. It’s only open for a couple of months and still attracts around a million visitors annually.
