The Photos on this page show my home village De Zilk and the area where I grew up, The Bollenstreek which is home to the famous Flower Garden Keukenhof Lisse
The Bollenstreek Area can be found right behind the Dunes and North Sea. A fabulous place to grow up and live, and even more so if you like to take photos. Despite the busy character of the Netherlands the Bollenstreek still has some characteristic places if you know where to look. Bollenstreek is also home to the world famous Flower Garden Keukenhof in Lisse which sees around a million visitors each year from all over the world.
Other places I frequently visited while living here were the Port of Ijmuiden and Estate Oud Woestduin in Vogelenzang. If you want to visit and like to hear some insider tips feel free to get in touch with me, I look forward to hearing from you.
